The [carthage] command

Note:

The sector5 command can be used the same way as the carthage command.

Initialization

Open the 'Carthage' window. A code must be entered in the window to connect the interface to Sector 5.

Note:

Once connected with Sector 5, click on the red sphere to locate the Arena on the 'Virtual Map'.

Where to find the 'Carthage' window access code
  • Access your inventory
    Open the pause menu by pressing the Esc key then open the inventory by clicking the icon.

  • Open the bag
    Then open your bag by pressing the Tab button.

  • Find the symbol linked to the 'Carthage' city
    Open the book Punic Wars and browse it to find the symbol linked to the 'Carthage' city.

  • Find the code
    Next, find the page associated with this symbol and go to this page to find the code 'Scipio'.

The 'Core Status' window

The 'Core Status' window shows the state of the Lyoko Core. Its main life bar is subdivided into 3 sections, one for each of the 2 protective shields and a 3rd one for the main sphere.

The 'Transporter' window

The 'Transporter' window allows you to call the virtual sphere to transport the lyoko warriors between the surface sectors and Sector 5.

Initialization

Open the 'Transporter' window. The transfer of the lyoko warriors is done from the edge of the sector to the Arena and vice versa.

Call the transporter

Transfer the lyoko warriors present at the end of a sector to the Arena of Sector 5, and vice versa.

The '5th Sector Sensors' window

The '5th Sector Sensors' window is used to see the status of the maze of Sector 5 which serves as a map to guide a character to the key to deactivate it.

State of the maze

The current state of the maze of Sector 5 is shown in the top left of the window. It can have 3 states.

  • Closed
    The closed state indicates that the maze is present, but the countdown is not active. When built, the maze will close with each Return to the Past.
  • Open
    The open state indicates that the maze is present and its countdown is active.
  • Unavailable
    The unavailable state indicates that the key to the maze has been found and therefore you can go to any room in Sector 5.
Map control

At the top left of the window, there are controls to move the map from the maze when it is open. These controls are used to move the map up and down, and right to left via the directional cross, and zoom in and out with the + and - buttons.

Key status

The state of the maze key is shown in the bottom left. It can have two states:

  • Found
    This state means that the maze key is active and therefore all rooms in Sector 5 are accessible.
  • Not found
    This state indicates that the maze key is not active and therefore only the Arena is the only room accessible in Sector 5.
Maze map legend

The maze map has many symbols representing many different elements.

  • Monsters
    Monsters in the maze are represented by orange triangles .
  • Lyoko warrior
    Lyoko warriors are represented by green triangles ◄.
  • Key
    The key to deactivate the maze is represented by a flashing yellow circle on the map.

Open the '5th Sector Sensors' window.

Note:

This window opens automatically when the maze is opened by a lyoko warrior.

The 'Key Chrono' window

This window shows the remaining time before the maze of Sector 5 closes.

Note:

  • The 'Key Chrono' window opens automatically when a lyoko warrior opens in the maze of Sector 5.
  • Having two different designs in the series, the design of this window can be changed via the 'Countdown variation' option available in the display options from the main menu.
  • The time available to activate the key are 6'30, 3'30 or 2'30 respectively depending on the difficulty (easy, normal or hard mode).

The '5th Sector Tunnel' window

The 'Tunnel' window is used to control the 4 data tunnels connecting Sector 5 to a surface sector.

Initialization

Open the '5th Sector Tunnel' window.

Selecting a tunnel

Select a data tunnel.

Note:

A tunnel that leads to an unconstructed sector cannot be selected.

Disabling a tunnel

Interrupt the dataflow between the selected sector and the Core of Lyoko, making the tunnel usable by the lyoko warriors or the Skidbladnir.

Note:

Once disabled, a tunnel remains disabled for up to 60 seconds. Beyond this period, the tunnel will automatically reactivate.

Reactivating a tunnel

Reactivate and deselect the tunnel targeted by the program.

Warning:

Any lyoko warrior present in a tunnel at the time of reactivation will be sent to the frontier instantly.
