Construction The towers of a sector are built systematically at the same time as the latter. Thus, in the case of Lyoko Towers you must configure them at the same time as the sector you want to build via the virtual constructor. Note that if a tower is destroyed, it will automatically repair in the same location and with the same characteristics as before it was destroyed.
WayTower Access
The code [label] {purple} WayTower Access [label] allows you to limit access to the towers only to beings with a unique virtual signature, namely the lyoko warriors. Therefore, monsters or clones cannot enter virtual shrines.
WayTower Road
The [label] {yellow} WayTower Road [label] code allows you to configure the data tunnels connecting the towers #1 of each [surface territory] (73 #sector_lyoko_surface) to the [5th Territory] (73 #sector_lyoko_core) as well as the virtual roads connecting the crossing towers with each other.
{: #tower_destruction} Destruction
Each tower has [label] {green-light} [label] health points whose total percentage is shown in real time on the Superscan when you analyze a tower. When a tower is destroyed, all lyoko warriors present inside the tower are expelled and all programs that are currently running are stopped and reset. A temporarily destroyed tower is [color] {grey} shown in gray [color] with [color] {blue} [color] [color] [color] running from the bottom to the top indicating that it is regenerating on the 'Virtual Map'. This regeneration effect is also displayed on the 3D model of the tower in the Superscan. A tower that is temporarily destroyed is operational again once all of its [label] {green-light} [label] health points have been fully restored.
Destruction by direct attack
If you use one or more programs in a tower, X.A.N.A will hasten to attack it using [megatank] (78 #monster_megatank) in order to destroy the virtual sanctuary and thus stop the program or programs you are using. The computer virus will also attack towers activated by Franz Hopper.
Destruction by the Multiscan The
[Multiscan] (56 #transm_transfert) allows you to activate 4 surface towers of territories at the same time and redirect their computing power to a virtual object. The towers used by the program will then be completely emptied of their vital energy and therefore destroyed.
Definitive destruction
The one and only way to permanently destroy a tower and destroy the sector on which it is located. Of course in the case of [Lyoko] (74 #virtualWorld_lyoko) you will be able to rebuild the sector and its towers via the construction program.

The number of towers and their distribution in the sectors of a virtual world will vary depending on whether it is a complex virtual world ([Lyoko] (74 #virtualWorld_lyoko)) or a simple virtual world ([Replika] (74 #virtualWorld_replika)).
A complex virtual world, Lyoko [
Lyoko] (74 #virtualWorld_lyoko) has a total of 41 towers distributed between its [5 sectors] (73 #sector_lyoko).

Replikas each have 2 towers on their [main sector] (73 #sector_replika).
{: #tower_classification} Classification
The towers are all classified according to two different methods by the Superscan.
Matricule
Each tower has a 3-digit number depending on where it is located. This number is displayed in the [color] {blue} [color] [blue}] rectangle at the top right [color] of the Superscan.
- Territory
The first number corresponds to the identifier of the type of territory where the tower is located* (between 0 or 4) *. - Tower Number
The second number corresponds to the number that the tower has in the sector where it is located* (between 1 and 10) *. - Virtual world
The third number corresponds to the ID of the virtual world on which the tower is located. [Lyoko] (74 #virtualWorld_lyoko) always has the ID 0.
Universal Identifier
The towers each have a universal identifier displayed to the left of the 3D model of the tower* (mention 'Universal ID') * in the [Superscan] window (54). This identifier is determined by the order in which each tower was created by Franz Hopper (between 1 and 41). The 2 rounds of Replika will always inherit numbers 42 and 43.

The role of inhibitors is to protect access to certain specific tower programs* (DNA correction program, Earth Code correction and [log decryption] (42 #diaryf_decipher)) *. Activated by default, you can consult the status of the inhibitors in a tower by superscanning it with the Superscan * (shown to the right of the 3D model) *. Finally, you can access a tower's [Inhibitor Management Program] (54 #superscan_inhib) via the Superscan and deactivate it using the Cryptosmasher. Tower inhibitors will only reactivate when Back to the Past is performed.

Common Tower
The 33 common towers correspond to towers No. 2 to 8 of each [surface sector] (73 #sector_lyoko_surface) as well as to the tower of the [5th Lyoko Territory] (73 #sector_lyoko_core). Code: Lyoko
The mythical “Code Lyoko” allows [Aelita] (77 #lw_aelita) to deactivate a tower when it is under the control of X.A.N.A.Data recovery The Replika Towers as well as
the Lyoko Crossing Towers have a program to recover data on the virtual world where the tower is located. This will allow you to bring back a Lyoko Warrior from the [border] (77 #lw_frontier). A tower is always deactivated when it is destroyed. In addition to that, a tower can be deactivated in various ways depending on the entity that controls it.
X.A.N.A.
A tower under the control of X.A.N.A. can only be deactivated by Aelita by entering the code: Lyoko from the second floor of the virtual shrine.
Jérémie
A tower under your control can be deactivated by withdrawing the energy you have injected into it via the transm.shutdown

Franz Hopper
A tower controlled by Franz Hopper is deactivated after a Back to the Past.
